Framed Gustave Dore print: $20

A good story comes to life in this print of “Don Quixote in his Library,” an engraving by Gustave Dore. Don was a guy who really new how to enjoy a book!

Dore was a 19th century printmaker who was France’s highest-paid illustrator by age 16. This is one of his most famous works. Matted and framed.  Frame size is 21″ x 25″. Great condition–the discoloration is just bad photography.

This print retails from allposters.com for $18, unframed. (They charge $170 for the framed version!) Yours for $20.

Encylopedia Art: TWO LEFT!

ONLY THE HORSE AND BRAZIL ARE LEFT!

A few years ago, we found a bunch of encyclopedias from 1968. Score! We pulled out some of the best illustrations and mounted them on 1/8″ plywood. They’ve got wire on the back for hanging and look great in a group. They’re attractive AND educational!
